Nenagh Lions Club Charity Golf Fundraiser

The annual Nenagh Lions Club Golf outing takes place in Nenagh Golf Club on Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th May.

Last year the proceeds from the Nenagh Lions Club annual outing benefited a number of local charities.

The beneficiaries of this year's event will include the Nenagh Branch of riding for the Disabled and Carmha, a recently formed organisation in Nenagh offering personal and professional help in areas such as alcohol and drug addiction and the promotion of healthy living.

The local branch of Riding for the Disabled has over thirty years involvement in providing exercise, fun and leisure activity for children and young adults with varying disabilities at McDonnell's Horse Riding Equstrian Centre throughout the school year and is totally dependent on voluntary help.

The format of play is a team of four Champagne Scramble which proved very popular with golf supporters last year. Teams of four of any combination will compete for some very attractive prizes and as this golf date draws ever closer we urge you to select your partners and support this very worthy event.

Lions Club members will shortly be calling to local businesses' seeking sponsorship for this golf venture. Nenagh Lions Club members wish to express their thanks to all golf supporters and the general public for all the very generous support for their many other events throughout the year, including the annual Christmas Food Appeal.
