Tipperary manager Liam Sheedy has a called on supporters to get in behind the Four Divisions Fundraiser this Saturday.

All members of the senior panel will be in four locations around the county this Saturday, raising funds for Seamus Hennessy's Running for Josie project as well as the Amanda Stapleton Benefit.

North Tipperary members of the panel will be in Nenagh between 9am and 4pm, hosting training sessions for under 12's at the pitch at Nenagh College on Dromin Road. Clubs will be asked to make a donation of €200 each with each club entered into a draw for Gaelic Armour jerseys.

Also they will be outside A Sportsmans Dream where they will be partaking in a cycle on exercise bikes as they look to complete the approximately 612km distance between Malin and Mizen Head.

The venues in the other three divisions are; Mid - hurling training at Thurles Sarsfields pitch next to Semple Stadium and cycle event at Ely's Centra on Slievenamon Road. Thurles. In the South, the hurling will take place at Clonmel Sportsgrounds and the cycling will be held at the Main Guard and finally in the West division, the hurling training will go ahead at Cashel King Cormac GAA grounds and the cycle event will take place on the plaza in front of Mikie Ryan's.

These guys are really keen to touch in with the general public, and the clubs and communities of Tipperary,” said Liam Sheedy speaking last Friday night.

If I had an ask coming out of tonight it is to ask everyone to get in behind them, they are supporting two stalwarts in Paddy Stapleton, linked to Amanda, and obviously Seamus Hennessy who has done his Antarctic challenge and has reached a significant figure.”

So if you are intending on doing your Christmas shopping this Saturday, while not make it to either of the four towns to meet the Tipperary hurlers and support two worthy causes in the process.
