Nenagh Europe Direct Information Contact (EDIC, Nenagh Library) is delighted to host an online talk on the topic of European democracy and the challenges that it faces on Thursday, October 22nd, at 7pm.

Entitled ‘A New Push for European Democracy – is Europe doing enough to protect its democracy?’, speakers on the night are Dr Mary Murphy, Lecturer in Politics, UCC and Andy Klom, Deputy Head of the EC Representation in Ireland.

Hear what the experts have to say on the subject of democracy within the EU, the threats and challenges to it from within and without. How will the EU find new ways to connect with its citizens, to engage with them in order to safeguard our democracy?
