Theft suspects apprehended in Nenagh

Gardaí have arrested three individuals and recovered valuable stolen property after foiling a suspected burglary attempt in Nenagh.

An off-duty garda observed a male and two females acting suspiciously in the Stereame area last Saturday afternoon. Gardaí responded and searched the suspects.

They found a number of items that had been stolen from nearby retail premises. The gardaí also searched a vehicle and recovered around €1,500 worth of goods that had been stolen in the Limerick area. The stolen property has since been reuinted with its owners.

The three individuals, who are understood to have addresses in the Roscommon area, were arrested and have been charged with theft and handling stolen property offences.
