765 on Nenagh housing list

There are 765 approved applicants for council housing in the Nenagh Municipal District.

Last month's meeting of the district heard that almost half of those on the list are in receipt of Housing Assistance Payment. Among the new home building projects in train in the district, a design team has been appointed for a scheme of 14 houses in Portroe, while the council is in the process of appointing a design team in respect of 12 houses at Cormack Drive, Nenagh.
