Nenagh born psychologist on sky 1

A Nenagh born psychologist is to star in a new six part series on Sky 1 television in which she helps people deal with their crippling phobias.

Dr Becky Spelman, a former student of Nenagh Vocational School, fronts the programme with fellow psychologist Richard Reid. The series, called Fright Club, starts this Wednesday, June 3rd at 8pm.

Dr Spelman is a UK registered psychologist and cognitive behavioural therapist. She started studying psychology when she was 18 and holds a doctorate, two postgraduate diplomas and an undergraduate degree.
