Burglaries under investigation

Gardaí are investigating three burglaries that occurred around the same timeframe in the Lorrha area.

The owner of a house at Curragha returned home last Friday to find a window had been forced open. A number of items were stolen.

The front door of a house at Ballymacegan was forced open around the same time. A door of a third house at Bredagh was prised open. The house was ransacked and damaged.

Gardaí are also investigating a house burglary at Ashbury, Roscrea, between Tuesday and Wednesday of last week. A quantity of tools was taken.
