Nenagh youths on national stage
Lasting impression left by RíRá
Nenagh group RíRá have completed an incredible run on TG4’s Junior Eurovision, reaching the top six in Ireland’s national selection for the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The five-piece - Fae Hogan, Ellen O’Sullivan, Shannon Kelly Stanley, Kaedan Hogan Long and Nathan Sreenivas - have captured the attention of viewers throughout the competition, representing the Musical Theatre Academy Nenagh on the national stage.
Their journey has seen them take on three very different songs during the studio shows, performing Friday I’m in Love, Austin and Valerie. Each performance showcased the group’s energy and growing confidence as they took on the challenge of performing in front of a national audience.
Reaching the top six is a remarkable achievement for the young performers, who have competed against talented young singers from across Ireland. Their success is a testament to the commitment and hard work they have put into their performances, with the support and guidance of their teachers, Stephanie Browne and Máire Long. Although RíRá’s Junior Eurovision journey comes to an end at the semi-final stage, there is plenty to celebrate. From their first appearance on TG4 to reaching the final six acts in the country, the group have made a lasting impression and represented Nenagh with pride.
This certainly isn’t the last we’ll see of RíRá; they are only getting started. RíRá abú!
