GAIN The Advantage Series up for grabs at Listowel finale
The 2026 GAIN The Advantage Series will conclude at Listowel Racecourse on Monday, September 21, during the Listowel Harvest Festival.
Richard Donohoe and Peter Lawlor share the lead on 12 points each for the overall Trainers’ title.
The series, comprising six legs, commenced at Leopardstown in June before continuing to Ballinrobe, Fairyhouse, Down Royal and Navan most recently.
Donohoe moved to the top of the standings following victory with Daboya at Ballinrobe, while Lawlor secured maximum points with Numidia at Down Royal. However, several trainers are within reach of the overall title.
The winning trainer will receive €5,000 worth of GAIN Equine Nutrition products.
The series’ winning breeders to date - Juddmonte Farm, His Late Highness the Aga Khan's Studs, Whisperview Trading Ltd, Oliver Donlon and JS Bolger - will be entered into a draw to win one tonne of GAIN feed, along with the winning breeder of Listowel’s race on Monday.
The winning groom from each leg of the series - Megan Brown, Andrew Donohoe, Akmal Khan, Dorota Kulikowska and Gulab Singh - together with the winning groom from the Listowel finale, will be entered into a draw to win a €250 voucher for Mount Juliet Estate, Co. Kilkenny.
