Hurling Semi-Finals and Relegation Finals fixtures confirmed

Following last weekends hectic weekend of club hurling championship action, Tipperary GAA have confirmed the dates, times, and venues for the county semi-finals and relegation finals to be played over the weekend of 26/27 September.

At senior level, Thurles Sarsfields were drawn to meet Nenagh Eire Og and they will be in the first semi-final at FBD Semple Stadium on Saturday, 26th September at 3.45pm, with the second semi-final between JK Brackens and Moycarkey/Borris taking place the following day at the same time and venue.

Both games will be preceded by the Premier Intermediate hurling semi-finals with the Saturday clash involving Killenaule and Eire Og Annacarty/Donohill at 2.00pm while the Sunday game is the meeting of St Mary’s and Thurles Sarsfields who have already met at the group stage, with the Clonmel side emerging as five point winners.

Both the Intermediate semi-finals will take place on Sunday, 27th September with Borrisokane facing Ballingarry at The Ragg at 1.30pm with the all-West affair between Arravale Rovers and Cappawhite taking place in Dundrum at 2.00pm.

However, the biggest games that weekend are likely to be the three relegation finals.

At senior level, CJ Kickhams Mullinahone are in the decider for the second year in a row, this time up against Roscrea with the match fixed for Templetuohy on Sunday, 27th at 3.15pm.

The premier intermediate relegation final takes place on Saturday 26th in Boherlahan at 4.15pm when Templederry Kenyons and Carrick Swan clashing to retain tier 2 status while the intermediate relegation final will be played on the same date and time in Bansha between Ballybacon/Grange and Clonoulty/Rossmore.
