Nenagh Cricket Club has enjoyed a successful summer winning not just one but two Munster titles.

At the start of the month, one year after the disappointment of defeat in the final, Nenagh Cricket Club wrote a new chapter in its history by winning its first-ever Munster Junior Cup defeating Midleton in the final at the Manor Fields in Adare.

The followed it up last Wednesday when Nenagh won the Minor Cup for the first time since 2012.

A brilliant all-round performance saw Nenagh post 220/8, with Jibin Scaria (45), Jomy Joseph (65) and an unbeaten Subin (40) leading the charge in Lismore.With the ball, Jomy struck twice early to leave Waterford & District 14/2 before rain brought the final to an early end as the championship was shared.
