Drove while disqualified

A motorist was put off the road at Nenagh District Court recently after gardaí detected him driving while disqualified.

Beka Kobakhidze (35) of Ballycasey Manor, Shannon, Co Clare was stopped by gardaí on Castle St, Roscrea, on January 9 last. He failed to produce a driving licence or certificate of insurance.

He had previous convictions for speeding and driving without insurance. The defendant told the court that he was looking for a job, which was a problem because he had no car.
