Tipperary Camogie and FBD Insurance host the official launch of the 2026 Club Camogie Club Championships
Friday, July 24th last saw Tipperary Camogie and FBD Insurance host the official launch of the 2026 FBD Insurance Tipperary Camogie Club Championships at the County Camogie Grounds, The Ragg.
The event marked the beginning of what promises to be an exciting and competitive season of camogie across the county.
Players and representatives from clubs competing in all five grades — Senior, Intermediate, Junior ‘A’, Junior ‘B’, and Junior ‘C’ — were in attendance, showcasing the strength and depth of club camogie in Tipperary.
The evening was filled with anticipation and enthusiasm as teams gear up for the start of this year’s club championship.
Speaking at the launch, Maureen O’Meara, FBD Insurance Head of Sales, South of Ireland, said: "FBD Insurance is proud to continue our support of the Tipperary Camogie Championships, a competition that showcases the exceptional talent, dedication and passion that exists across clubs throughout the county.
“Camogie plays a vital role in strengthening communities, inspiring young players and promoting participation at every level of the game. With the championships due to start on August 11th, excitement is building for another memorable year of club camogie action.
