Witness appeal following road death

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the L4101 at Lanespark, Ballynonty, Thurles, in the early hours of Sunday, July, 26. The collision involved a car and occurred at approximately 3.45am.

The driver of the car, a male adult teenager was pronounced deceased at the scene. His body has been removed to Waterford University Hospital where a post mortem will take place in due course. The coroner has been notified.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Any road users who were travelling in this area between 3:00am and 3:45am this morning and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
