Nenagh Warriors Basketball Club brought the 2025/2026 season to a fitting close with a celebratory awards night at Andy’s Gastropub, honouring the achievements of the club’s winning underage teams.
The evening recognised three teams who enjoyed outstanding success during the season, with medals and trophies presented to the following champions:
• U14 Girls – Winners of the North Munster Division 2 League
• U14 Boys – Winners of the North Munster Division 2 League & Cup
• U16 Girls – Winners of the North Munster Division 2 League
Club Chairperson Patsy Farrell welcomed the players to the night and congratulated all of the young athletes on their achievements throughout the season.
He paid tribute to the dedication and commitment shown by the club’s managers and coaches, thanking them for the countless hours they devoted to training sessions and matches over the course of the year.
He also acknowledged the vital role played by parents, whose support and encouragement ensured players could attend training and games each week.
The awards night was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate not only the teams’ successes on the court but also the strong community spirit that continues to thrive within the club.
Looking ahead, Nenagh Warriors are hostting a three-day Summer Basketball Camp at Nenagh College from July 1st to 3rd.
