Tipperary Minor Hurlers
Hard luck to the Tipperary Minor Hurlers following Saturday’s All Ireland Final defeat to Limerick. While the result did not go Tipperary's way, every member of the panel can be immensely proud of an outstanding season, highlighted by winning the Munster Minor Hurling Championship title.
A sincere thank you to manager James Woodlock and his management team for their dedication, commitment and leadership throughout the year. This talented group represented Tipperary with tremendous pride and provided supporters with many memorable moments along the way. They have also given us every reason to be optimistic about the future of Tipperary hurling.
Congratulations to Limerick on their All Ireland Championship success and we wish them well in their celebrations.
A huge thank you to Val O'Gorman and all the team at Mr. Mister Menswear, Cahir for their generous sponsorship in kitting out the Tipperary Minor Hurlers for the All-Ireland Final. Your continued support of Tipperary GAA is greatly appreciated. Be sure to visit www.mrmister.ie to see their excellent range of menswear.
Thank you also to everyone at Galtee Rovers/St. Pecaun GAA Club for the wonderful welcome home they gave Tipperary captain Conor Collins and the minor panel last Sunday. It was a fitting tribute to a fantastic group of young players and your support was greatly appreciated by everyone involved.
Congratulations to Kilruane MacDonaghs who were the lucky winners of the Tipperary GAA "Bring a Bus" competition for the All-Ireland Final.
