Munster Solar North Senior & Liam Buckley Car Sales Premier Intermediate Championships: begin next weekend with four exciting games across the two championships on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, a double header in Nenagh will see the two most recently relegated teams from senior, Lorrha take on Templederry Kenyons at 5.00pm in the Premier Intermediate quarter final, while at 7.00pm, the senior championship begins with Kilruane MacDonaghs taking on Roscrea in a quarter final.

On Sunday, Burgess take on Moneygall at 2.00pm in Toomevara in the Premier Intermediate quarter final, while at 5.00pm in Dolla, Toomevara and Nenagh Eire Og will renew rivalry in the Senior Championship quarter final.

Jim McLoughney Menswear Intermediate Hurling Championship

There will be new champions in 2026 as Newport and Portroe will contest the intermediate hurling final after their semi-final victories over Shannon Rovers and Borrisokane respectively.

The final will take place on the weekend of June 27th.

The Watch Centre Junior ‘A’ Hurling Championship: Round 1 of North Junior ‘A’ Hurling Championship takes place this Friday, 19th June with the opening games in each group.

In Group 1, Kilruane MacDonaghs play Kiladangan in Toomevara, Toomevara face Nenagh Eire Og in Cloughjordan, while group 2 sees Silvermines play Borris-Ileigh in Templederry and Ballinahinch v Roscrea in Dolla, all games throw in at 7.30pm.

Junior ‘B’ & ‘B2’ Hurling Leagues

In the Junior ‘B’ Hurling League, the semi-finals took place over the weekend with Ballina having an eight point win over Borrisokane and Burgess beating Newport by a single point. Ballina and Burgess will contest the final this weekend – see GAA Scoreboard for details.

Congratulations to Kiladangan who had a three point win in the Junior ‘B2’ Hurling League final over Roscrea in a very entertaining final in Borrisokane on Friday.
