Tipperary Senior Footballers

Hard luck to the Tipperary Senior Footballers, whose Tailteann Cup campaign came to an end following a 1-17 to 0-12 defeat to Wicklow in round 3 at Aughrim last Saturday evening. See match report.

Following the game against Wicklow, Tipperary captain Paudie Feehan presented a donation from the Senior Football panel to Martin Dwyer, Chairman of the Friends of Tipperary Football, to help cover the costs of the supporters' bus which travelled to Aughrim. The contribution was made as a token of appreciation to the supporters whose unwavering backing and travel throughout the season has meant so much to the team.

Tipperary Minor Hurlers

The Tipperary Minor Hurlers have qualified for the Electric Ireland All Ireland semi-final where they will face Cork in a hugely anticipated clash this Saturday, June 13th at 2.00pm in TUS Gaelic Grounds, Limerick.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and supporters are encouraged to secure their tickets early. A large Tipperary support can make a real difference on the day so let's get behind the lads as they bid to book their place in the All-Ireland Final. Best of luck to the players and management in what promises to be a great game.

Celtic Challenge

Hard luck to the Tipperary Blue Under 17 Celtic Challenge side who were desperately unlucky to lose to Kilkenny last Saturday in Abbottstown in the Corn Michael Hogan Division 1 Final. The final score was 2-13 to 2-12 in Kilkenny’s favour. See match report.

Hard luck to all the players, who put in a tremendous effort throughout the year and to Noel McKelvey and his management team for their dedication and commitment.

County Football League

The Division 3 Final between neighbours Ballingarry and St. Patrick’s will take place this Thursday, June 11th at 7.30pm in Cloneen.

The Division 4 Final sees Clerihan face Rockwell Rovers which takes place on Sunday, June 14th at 12 noon in Rosegreen.

County Hurling League

Congratulations to Arravale Rovers who claimed the County Hurling League Division 3 title last Sunday in Bansha with a 0-25 to 1-18 final victory over Golden Kilfeacle.

The sides were level at 0-4 apiece after ten minutes but Golden gradually edged in front and held the advantage for the remainder of the half - taking a 0-13 to 0-10 lead into the break.

Arravale Rovers made a strong start to the second half drawing level early on before moving four points clear midway through the half thanks to some excellent shooting from Cormac Maher, Johnny Ryan, and Orrin Jones. They continued to build momentum and stretched their lead to seven points with an impressive display. Golden Kilfeacle battled to the end and were rewarded with a late consolation goal from Tom Byrnes but the Rovers had done enough to secure the title.

Congratulations to Holycross/Ballycahill who claimed the County Hurling League Division 4 title last Friday in The Ragg with a comfortable 5-16 to 1-8 victory over Toomevara. See match report.

The Division 1 Final will see Cashel King Cormacs take on Kiladangan in The Ragg this Sunday, June 14th at 3.30pm.

The Division 2 Final takes place on Friday, June 12th at 7.00pm in Cashel where Boherlahan Dualla will face Killenaule,

The Division 5 semi-final took place last Tuesday, 9th June in Cloughjordan where Kilruane MacDonaghs hosted Cashel King Cormacs with no result at time of going to print. The winners will face Ballybacon/Grange in the Final.

In the Division 6 final - Clerihan take on Moyne-Templetuohy on Thursday, 18th June at 7.30pm in New Inn.

The Tipperary Masters will face Dublin next in Borrisoleigh this Saturday, June 13th at 3.00pm.

Well done to Newcastle’s Michael Kennedy who refereed the Leinster Senior Hurling Final between Galway and Dublin last Saturday in Croke Park.

Cumann na mBunscol County Finals

The Tipperary Cumann na mBunscol Hurling and Camogie County Finals took place in FBD Semple Stadium last Monday and Tuesday. Check the Tipperary X page for results.

Long Puck

Tipperary hosted its County Senior and Under 16 Long Puck Competition last Friday.

Congratulations to Liam Crosse of Ballinahinch on winning the U16 title, and to Cormac Bourke of JK Brackens on claiming the Senior title.

Both will represent Tipperary on the Galtee Mountain next Saturday, June 13th in the Munster Finals, hosted by Limerick GAA.

We wish both participants every success as they take on the best long puck competitors from across Munster and represent their clubs and county with pride.

2001 Jubilee Golf Classic

The victorious 2001 All Ireland Senior Hurling Champions will host a special Jubilee Golf Classic as part of their celebrations ahead of being honoured as the Jubilee Team at this year's All Ireland Senior Hurling Final in Croke Park.

The Golf Classic promises to be a fantastic occasion for supporters, clubs, businesses, and friends of Tipperary GAA to come together and celebrate one of the county's most iconic and beloved teams.

Event Details: Team of 4 - €200; Tee Box Sponsorship - €50

Supporters who may not be in a position to take part on the day can still show their support by: Making a donation; Entering the raffle, which will take place during the prize presentation on the evening of the Golf Classic

Cúl Camps – Coach Recruitment

Tipperary GAA is recruiting coaches for the 2026 Cúl Camps programme. Applicants must be 18 years of age on or before 6th July.

Full training and support will be provided before camps begin, with camps taking place throughout the county, offering successful applicants the opportunity to work locally and gain valuable experience.

The role also provides a strong reference for CVs while helping to deliver fun, safe, and active camps for children across the county.

Camps will run from Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm, beginning on Monday, 6th July.

Inclusive Cúl Camps

Tipperary GAA will host two Inclusive Cúl Camps this summer, providing children of all abilities with the opportunity to enjoy fun, friendship, and Gaelic games in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

The camps will focus on participation, enjoyment and making friends, with the message that “Everyone Plays, Everyone Belongs.”

Inclusive Camp 1 will take place in Cahir GAA from July 21st to 23rd from 11am to 1pm each day.

Inclusive Camp 2 will take place in Coolmore Morris Park, Thurles, from August 11th to 13th, also running from 11am to 1pm daily.

Under 13 Club Player Divisional Camps

Tipperary GAA will host a series of Under 13 Club Player Divisional Camps this summer, aimed at helping young players develop their football, hurling and athletic development skills in a fun and enjoyable environment.

The two-day camps will run from 10am to 1pm daily and are open to players born in 2013. The cost of attendance is €60, with all players receiving a Tipperary GAA rucksack and water bottle.

The Mid Camp will take place in Coolmore Morris Park, Thurles on July 21st & 22nd.

The West Camp will be hosted by Arravale Rovers GAA Club on July 28th & 29th.

The North Camp will take place in Portroe GAA Club on August 5th & 6th, while the South Camp will be held in Clonmel Óg on the same dates.

To register, download the Tipperary GAA App, create an account, select “Memberships” and “Join Today,” choose your preferred Divisional Camp and complete the registration and payment process.

These camps promise to provide young players with an excellent opportunity to learn, develop and enjoy being part of Tipperary GAA.

Friends of Tipperary Football Golf Classic

The Friends of Tipperary Football Golf Classic will take place in Thurles Golf Club on Friday 19th & Saturday 20th June.

The competition will be played as a Team of 4 Champagne Scramble, with entry priced at €200 per team, which includes a meal for four after the round.

There will be special prizes for Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin in both the male and female categories, while an additional competition will also be held for all-ladies teams. For further information or to enter, contact Martin O’Dwyer on 0862549154.

2026 Club Season Pass

The 2026 Tipperary GAA club season pass is on sale and can be purchased via the events section of the Tipperary GAA App. The pass which will entitle the holder entry into all adult divisional and county games at adult level will cost €170.
