HRI announce upcoming race programme amendments
Following the cancellation of the three steeplechase races from Clonmel’s Friday, June 5th meeting due to current ground conditions and a prolonged period of mainly dry and warm weather, Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) has announced the following changes to a number of racemeetings:-
Clonmel, Friday, June 5th - two hurdle races will be added to the programme to form a six-race hurdle card.
The three cancelled steeplechase races from the Clonmel programme will now be rescheduled as follows:
Listowel - Monday, June 1st – 2m 3f Beginners Steeplechase for horses rated 100 or less over hurdles added to programme (2m Colts & Geldings Maiden Hurdle transferred to Clonmel on June 5th).
Punchestown - Saturday, June 6th – 3m & 157yds Beginners Steeplechase added to programme (2m 7f & 180yds 0-100 Handicap Hurdle transferred to Clonmel on June 5th).
Roscommon - Monday, June 8th – 2m 5f & 150yds 0-100 Handicap Steeplechase (For Qualified Riders) added to programme to form an eight-race card.
