Glass workshop in MacDonagh Museum
To start off our 2026 series of Arts and Culture events in the Thomas MacDonagh Museum, we are delighted to welcome mixed-media artist Kay O’Donoghue, who will facilitate this Faux Stained Glass workshop on Sunday, May 17, from 1.30- 4.30pm.
Drawing inspiration from the vibrant colours and exquisite patterns of Ss Michael and John’s Harry Clarke windows, at this workshop, participants will create an original piece of faux stained glass.
The art will be exhibited in the museum until the premiere screening on Friday, May 22, of Tony Walsh’s new Harry Clarke documentary ‘Journey Through Glass’. No previous experience required. Templates will be provided, and there will be no cutting glass or soldering. €15 including all materials and light refreshments. Book a place with Lian on 086 2345 514. Places are limited, so book early!
This series of events has been made possible through the support of Tipperary County Council and the Arts Act Grant.
