The minor footballers become the latest Tipperary team into championship action when they take on Limerick in the opening round of the Munster Championship on Sunday.
Similar to the under 20 grade, Tipperary will play in a round-robin phase 1, following on with a trip to Lemybrien to take on Waterford on Easter Monday, 6th April, with a further trip to Quilty in Clare on Monday, 13th April. The top with the top two teams progress to phase 2 where they will meet again for the Daryl Darcy Cup, as well as facing off against Kerry and Cork.
First year manager Kevin Mulcahy has named a 36-player panel spread among 17 clubs with six survivors from the 2025 squad that won the Daryl Darcy Cup and who were defeated, after extra time, in the Munster semi-final by Cork.
