Four Codes - One Province - One Launch of Munster Championships
The launch of the 2026 Munster GAA Hurling, Football, Camogie & Ladies Football Championships took place on Thursday, March 26th, at FBD Semple Stadium.
Those in attendance heard from Munster GAA Chairman Tim Murphy, Munster Camogie Chairperson Christine Ryan and Munster Ladies Football President Lorraine Royle, each addressed the event about the 2026 Championship season. A special address from Waterford great Paul Flynn, included memories from his distinguished playing career and looked ahead to the excitement of the 2026 Championships.

The 2026 Munster GAA Senior Football Championship gets underway on Sunday, April 12th, with two Quarter-Finals: Waterford v Tipperary at Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field and Cork v Limerick at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh. The Munster Senior Football Final is fixed for Sunday, May 10th.
The Munster GAA Senior Hurling Championship begins on Sunday, April 19th, with the opening round-robin fixtures seeing Clare v Waterford at Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg, while Tipperary host Cork at FBD Semple Stadium, Thurles, in a repeat of the 2025 All-Ireland Final. The Munster Senior Hurling Final will take place on Sunday, June 7th.
