News from Nenagh Walking Club
Nenagh Walking Club continues to enjoy an active spring season, with a varied programme of walks and activities catering for all levels of fitness.
Earlier this week, members took part in the Tuesday yoga session at Nenagh Swimming Pool, continuing the current five-week block, and the Tuesday evening walk from Tesco at 7.30pm, which provided a perfect midweek opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and socialise with fellow walkers.
Looking ahead, on Thursday, a B walk will take place in the Ballyhoura Mountains along the well-known Darragh Hill route, which was especially enjoyable when visited last autumn. This walk is expected to last approximately three and a half hours. Walkers will meet at Centra in Kilfinane at 11am, with carpooling available from Costa in Nenagh at 9.40am.
Next Sunday, the club will host a charity walk at Curraghchase. Full details will be shared later in the week, but it promises to be a highlight of the schedule and a great way to support a good cause.
The Nenagh Walking Club offers more than just walks; it’s a chance to be part of a community that appreciates nature and physical activity. Remember, all you need is a love for the outdoors, a reasonable level of fitness, and a pair of hiking boots.
