Powerful story set for Nenagh stage in March

With less than a month to opening night, Nenagh Choral Society are eagerly awaiting our run of Evita, from March 24 to 28.

With our fabulous cast including Kirsty Burns as Eva Perón, Aaron O'Donoghue as Ché, Cuan Culliton as Juan Perón, Megan Maher as Perón's Mistress and Seamus McCarthy as Malgaldi, this cast has been working tirelessly to bring this production to life in the Scouts Hall.

Evita tells the powerful story of Eva Perón, charting her rise from humble beginnings to become one of the most influential figures in Argentina. Blending rock and Latin-inspired music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, Evita offers a sharp, dramatic look at ambition, fame and political power, leaving audiences to decide whether Eva was a saint of the poor or a savvy architect of her own legend.
