Extra time for Nenagh car showroom

Tipperary Co Council has granted an extension of duration of planning permission for a new car showroom outside Nenagh.

Michael Slattery is developing a car showroom with part mezzanine for ancillary offices and a workshop repair area with ancillary rooms at Tullaheady. A new single-storey valeting/repairs building to the rear of the showroom/workshop, a new roadside totem sign, new boundary treatments and new setback vehicular entrance from the Limerick Road (R445), all form part of the plan, along with car parking and car storage areas for new and used vehicles.

The planning permission expires this month and the applicant sought an additional year to complete the development. The council has extended the permission to February 2027.
