Night of great music and entertainment
We had our Rambling House on Wednesday, February 4. Another night of fantastic audience participation and music with all our talented musicians.
Our ukulele group is growing in numbers with new members showing their talent and enjoyment in learning a new skill. Thanks again to our Fear an Tí, Seamus Moloughney, who spots the talent in the audience and encourages people to participate.
Our next night will be on Wednesday, March 4, at 7pm in The Courthouse. Other events coming up are the Courthouse Café on Tuesday, February 24, at 2.30pm, offering advice and support to people living with memory loss and their families, friends and carers. We have a weekly Friday Club from 2 to 4pm with a mixture of chat, songs, stories and fun. There is a door-to-door bus service for this club for people living in Roscrea.
Our book club meets on the last Thursday of the month, February 26, at 3pm, new members are always welcome. Our Rosie Greys singing group meet every Wednesday at 3pm and we love to see new people coming along. It’s a singalong group so no one is asked to sing solo. Singing is very good for your breathing and lung capacity – a healthy and fun exercise!
