Forde appeal likely

Tipperary are likely to appeal Jason Forde's red card against Cork on Saturday night.

The Tipp management were still reviewing the contents of Liam Gordon's referees report on Tuesday with "a very high possibility" they will lodge an appeal, the Nenagh Guardain understand.

The Silvermines clubman, along with Cork's Shane Barrett were sent off for their part in 'contributing to a melee'.

The suspension carries with it a one game back which if upheld would see Forde miss the round 4 clash with Limerick on Saturday week.
