Free weekly support for secondary school students
As part of MIC’s Community Engagement Programme, Secondary school students across Thurles and the surrounding areas are invited to take advantage of free, one-to-one mathematics support at the Thurles Maths Hub, based at Mary Immaculate College (MIC), Thurles, with weekly sessions running from February through April.
The Thurles Maths Hub provides a welcoming drop-in space where students can receive friendly guidance from MIC tutors from the Mathematics and Computer Studies department, whether they are working through homework, revising key topics or simply looking to build confidence in mathematics.
The Maths Hub will run on Wednesdays from 5-7pm in G14 at MIC Thurles, conveniently located just inside the main entrance. The service is open to all secondary school students, and no appointment is necessary—participants can simply drop in during the scheduled times.
SESSION DETAILS
