Have your say on new parking bye-laws in Tipp
Following a review, draft Tipperary County Council Parking Bye-Laws 2026 have been prepared for the control and regulation of parking of vehicles in the Towns of Clonmel, Nenagh, Thurles, Templemore, Roscrea, Tipperary Town, Cahir, Cashel and Carrick-on-Suir being the administrative area of Tipperary County Council.
Notice is hereby given that in accordance with Section 36 of the Road Traffic Act 1994 (No. 7 of 1994), a copy of the draft Bye-Laws is available for inspection between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday at:
Tipperary County Council Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh E45 A099;
Tipperary County Council Civic Offices, Emmet Street, Clonmel E91 N512;
Thurles Municipal District Offices, Castle Avenue, Thurles E41 KA44;
Tipperary Cahir Cashel Municipal District Offices, Rosanna Road E34 WD51
Carrick-on-Suir Municipal District Offices, Town Hall, New Street, Carrick-on-Suir E32 YV00;
from January 12 to February 13 and on the council’s website consultations.tipperarycoco.ie
Submissions in relation to the draft bye-laws may be made in writing to Liam Brett, Director of Services, Tipperary County Council Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co Tipperary, or by email to parkingbyelaws@tipperarycoco.ie no later than 4.30pm on Friday, February 27. Submissions received will be taken into consideration before making of the bye-laws by Tipperary County Council.
A copy of the draft bye-laws may be purchased on payment of a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making such copies
