Road Hurling becoming a staple on St. Stephen’s Day
By Shane Brophy
Tipperary wouldn’t be a part of the country with a tradition of the ‘Hunting the Wren’ on St Stephen’s Day, but it is quickly building a custom of its own with hurling, unsurprisingly, at the centre of it.
Road Hurling is quickly becoming a staple of St Stephen’s Day with a number of clubs organising post Christmas events for charity.

The 4km route will run from ABP Meats on the Borrisokane road to Cloughjordan Cross.
