Nenagh Neptune swimmers impress at Winter Nationals

Nenagh Neptune SC swimmers Mateusz Milaszewicz and Kevin Reddy qualified for Irish Winter Nationals which took place from December 12th to December 15th in the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin.

The Irish Winter National Championships is Ireland’s premier short-course swimming gala, featuring elite domestic athletes and international competitors. It serves as the definitive end-of-year showcase for Irish swimming.

Both Mateusz and Kevin produced impressive performances recording several stellar personal bests times.

Mateusz Milaszewicz delivered outstanding swimming in the 200m Butterfly, cutting an impressive 1.31 seconds from his previous best time while Kevin Reddy set personal best times in both the 100m and 50m Backstroke.

Rachel Quigley (former club member and current club coach) swam for UL Wolves and she won the 200m Breaststroke when she achieved an impressive 3.01 seconds off her PB.

The results highlight the continued progress of Nenagh Neptune swimmers competing at national level, led by its coaches, including Head Coach Uta Fietsch who was in attendance throughout this three day event.
