Tipperary’s All-Ireland success hits the small screen

Tipperary’s incredible All-Ireland senior hurling winning campaign of 2025 will be immortalised on the small screen with the release of a documentary.

Entitled ‘Blue to Gold’ is the definitive behind-the-scenes story of Tipperary’s 2025 All-Ireland winning season, featuring never-before-seen footage, pitch-side access, and wholehearted interviews with the players and staff who made it so special.

The documentary was put together by local media production company Retake.ie, of which Tipperary senior hurler Conor Stakelum is co-founder.

A trailer of the documentary is now available to view on YouTube with footage from right through the season from pre-season to training camps and league & championship games provided rarely scene access to all the untold stories of courage and unity that inspired the Premier County.

Such insightful documentaries are rare in the GAA but it looks to follow in the footsteps of ‘A Year til Sunday’ where film-maker Pat Comer, who was also sub-goalkeeper on the Galway senior football team, produced a similar warts and all production on the county’s 1998 All-Ireland senior success
