The Camogie Association hosted their 2025 PwC Camogie All-Stars Awards at Croke Park on Saturday night, celebrating the outstanding achievements, dedication, and skill of the game’s top performers over the past season.
There was plenty of local interest with Drom & Inch player Mairead Eviston winning her first All-Star after being selected at wing back. The Templemore based school-teacher had a superb campaign for Tipperary this season, primarily at full-back.
All-Ireland senior champions Galway dominate the team, claiming eight All-Stars, while beaten finalists, Cork, won five with Eviston and Waterford’s Beth Carton making up the selection from the beaten semi-finalists.
Tipperary’s other nominees were Karin Blair (defence), Karen Kennedy (midfield) and Roisin Howard, Grace O’Brien in attack.
In addition to the All-Stars, the PwC GPA Camogie Player of the Year awards were presented across three grades: Senior, Intermediate, and Premier Junior.
Galway’s Aoife Donohue has been crowned the Senior Player of the Year while Grace Teehan was named the Intermediate Player of the Year after helping Offaly to the All-Ireland Intermediate title.
Laois’ Aimée Collier was voted the Premier Junior Player of the Year while Galway’s Cathal Murray was awarded the Manager of the Year gong, recognising his exceptional leadership and remarkable success with the Galway Camogie team. This year’s success for Galway was their third senior title (2019, 2021, 2025) under Murray’s watch, while he also steered the county to the inaugural Under 23 ‘A’ All-Ireland title in July.
