The annual Jim Sheedy U11 Boys Tournament took place in St Cronan’s GAA Roscrea recently. Games between Roscrea, JK Brackens, Portroe and Moneygall led to a fantastic afternoon of hurling for this popular tournament which is in its 20th year.
All Ireland winner Alan Tynan was on hand to meet everyone which made the boys’ day. Massive thanks to all the coaches and players from Portroe, Moneygall and Roscrea for travelling and playing in the Jim Sheedy Tournament. There were brilliant displays of hurling on show from everyone.
Thanks to the Sheedy family for presenting all the children with their medals after a great day of hurling and fun.
Also, big thanks to Alan Tynan for showing his support for all the children and stopping for photos.
