The Hibernian Inn Senior Hurling Championship: will start this Sunday, 27th July with three quarter finals to look forward to.

Roscrea will face Kiladangan at 1.00pm in Templederry whilst there will be a double-header in Dolla with Toomevara v Lorrha throwing in at 4.00pm whilst Nenagh Eire Og and Kilruane MacDonaghs throws-in at 6.00pm.

The winners will progress to the semi-finals with Borris-Ileigh (who received a bye) and these will take place on Wednesday, 30th July. The Final will then take place on Sunday, 3rd August.

Entry to all games will be via tap and go or tickets which will be available to purchase on the Tipperary GAA website.

Munster Solar Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship: will start this Saturday, 26th July with Moneygall taking on Silvermines in the quarter final at 6.30pm in Toomevara. The semi-finals take place on Tuesday, 29th July (Ballina, Burgess and Templederry Kenyons await in the semi-finals) with the Final taking place on Sunday, 3rd August.

The Watch Centre Junior 'A' Hurling Championship: continued last Friday with two games taking place.

Nenagh Éire Óg recorded a 3-14 to 0-19 victory over Toomevara in Cloughjordan, with their first-half goal-scoring proving decisive.

Aodhan O’Connor continued his fine form, netting two goals, while Filip McIntyre also found the back of the net, helping them to a commanding 3-8 to 0-9 lead at half-time. Toomevara battled gamely after the break, but the damage had been done, and they were unable to close the gap in the second half.

Borris-Ileigh had a hard fought 0-19 to 1-14 victory over Ballinahinch in Nenagh.

Borris made a strong start thanks largely to free-taker Mixie Carey, who scored the bulk of their first-half points. Despite some poor wides, the work-rate was high as Borris led 0-10 to 0-6 at the break.

Ballinahinch came out sharper in the second half and narrowed the gap with a well-taken goal, but Borris stayed just ahead, leading 0-15 to 0-12 after 48 minutes. A tense final period followed, with Jody Harkin making two key saves to preserve the lead. Ballinahinch had chances from close-range frees late on, but Borris held firm to secure a vital win.

The third game in the group did not go ahead as Kiladangan received a walkover from Roscrea.

Kilruane MacDonaghs and Borris-Ileigh will face each other this Friday, 25th July at 7.15pm in Cloughjordan in their outstanding round 4 clash.

Round 6 will take place on Friday, 1st August at 7.15pm - Roscrea face Toomevara in Cloughjordan, Ballinahinch and Kilruane MacDonaghs clash in Puckane whilst Shalee will host Nenagh Eire Og v Borris-Ileigh.

The Watch Centre Junior 'B' Hurling Championship: In Group 1, Knockshegowna recorded a comprehensive 3-33 to 2-10 victory over Newport in Ballingarry.

With the aid of the breeze in the first half, Knockshe built a strong lead thanks to goals from Dermot Brennan and Dan Smyth. Newport battled gamely after the break, but Knockshe remained in control, with Paul Lake adding a third goal in the second half to seal a dominant win.

Ballina had a 1-17 to 1-15 victory over Silvermines in Ballina. The game began with Silvermines taking an early lead, but Ballina quickly responded, and a tightly contested first half saw the sides level at the break: Silvermines 0-12, Ballina 1-9. The second half remained close, with both teams continuing to trade scores. Silvermines found the net, but Ballina maintained the pressure and edged ahead late on to claim the win.

There were no games in Group 2.

In Group 3, Burgess recorded a commanding 3-16 to 0-8 victory over Borrisokane. They led 2-7 to 0-5 at half-time, with both goals coming from David Nealon who completed his hat-trick late in the game, rounding off a dominant performance for Burgess.

There is only one game taking place this weekend with Borrisokane hosting Kiladangan on Monday, 28th July at 7.30pm.

Ger Gavin Furniture North Under 19 'Hurling Championship: The 'A' Championship started last Wednesday with Group 1 where Silvermines secured a strong victory over Newport, 0-23 to 1-14.

Newport held a narrow lead at half-time, 0-10 to 0-8, but Silvermines took control in the second half. Ronan Cunneen was excellent from both frees and open play, with Eoin Grace, Conor Ryan, and Sean Nolan also making key contributions. Despite Newport finding the net in the second half, a solid defensive display from Silvermines ensured they stayed on top in the closing stages to seal the win.

Roscrea defeated Ballina 1-17 to 0-17 in the second game in the group with Roscrea leading 1-8 to 0-9 at half time.

The following games are fixed to take place this Wednesday, 23rd July at 7.15pm:

'A' Group 1 - Ballina v Newport in Ballina, Silvermines v Roscrea in Dolla.

'A' Group 2 - Toomevara v Borris-Ileigh in Toomevara, Nenagh Eire Og v Kilruane MacDonaghs in Nenagh.

'B' Group 1 - Kiladangan v Lorrha Rovers in Puckane, Borrisokane v Burgess in Borrisokane.

'B' Group 2 - Portroe v Moneygall/Clonakenny in Portroe.
