A manager at the Barack Obama Plaza in Moneygall has won the prestigious Forecourt Deli Manager of the Year Award at the ShelfLife C-Store Awards in Dublin. The plaza’s deli manager, Deirdre Conroy, held off strong competition to scoop the ultimate accolade for providing exceptional standards in the areas of food quality, customer service and team management in the competitive Irish forecourt deli landscape.

The award was presented at an awards ceremony at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire last week.

The C-Store Awards recognise the retail industry’s top retailers and brands. Now in their 25th year, the C-Store Awards are the only comprehensive and independently judged business accolades for the convenience store sector.
