A new and permanent exhibition entitled Handled with Care, has been unveiled at University Maternity Hospital Limerick.

Handled with Care is a mural which focuses on building community through art.

The concept was created and managed by Italian artist Giulia Coli, and invited over 100 artists from across the Mid West to come together and collaborate on the themes of family, support, and shared experiences.

The idea was born with Giulia’s daughter Maeve. After Giulia had her baby she realised a deep need for connection with other parents, which inspired the project.
