There was a large attendance at the well on Wednesday evening week last to honour our parish patron.

Prayers were recited by Fr Lorcan, Fr Tim O’Brien and readings by members of the attendance. Members of the Burgess, Youghalarra and Portroe choirs rendered suitable hymns for the event.

Fr Lorcan thanked all who helped organise the event. Thanks to Eddie Ryan and his team of helpers for maintaining the well and surrounding area in such great shape, Michael Nevin for the sound system, the choir members and all who provided the hospitality afterwards.
