Nenagh Easter egg hunt

On Wednesday, March 27, Nenagh Historic and Cultural Quarter held their annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt.

The children went on an adventure around Nenagh Heritage Centre, Nenagh Castle, Nenagh Arts Centre and Nenagh Tourist Office, finding answers to their clues and gaining chocolate eggs along their journey, and a full-size Easter egg at the end. We were blessed with the weather that day; the sun stayed out for our Easter Egg Hunt and there was a great buzz of excitement in the air. The children enjoyed finding the answers to the clues and it was a great family fun event.

This was a pre-booked event and we had 89 children take part with a sensory hour in the morning. A big thank you to Spain AV, who sponsored the Easter Eggs. It was great to see so many families enjoying our amazing historical and cultural buildings in Nenagh, with some children going back to the castle to challenge their parents to complete the 101-step climb to the top.
