Tipp Juniors going for second league win

Tipperary’s Junior Camogie team make the trip to Enniscorthy this Saturday (2.00pm) for the third round of the National Camogie League Division 2B.

Having tasted a one-point victory away to Clare last time out, Tipp will be hoping to make it two wins from two on the road this Saturday.

Wexford had an impressive win away to Kilkenny in their second round game 3-9 to 1-8 but lost to Clare at home in their opening game by four points. When the sides met this time last year Tipperary recorded a good win which kick-started their season going on to win a Munster championship and reaching the All-Ireland Junior Final.

In their opening two games of the league, including an opening round loss to Cork, Ciara Brennan has really impressed in midfield or the half forward line while Aoife O’Brien has been very solid in goals while Sinead Meagher has caused trouble for opposing defenders.

Enniscorthy is a difficult place to get a result but with great competition for places in the squad and off the back of a good win, Tipp can travel in confidence this Saturday.
