Both the Flynn O’Kane Academy of Irish Dance and the Callanan MacLoone O’Meara Academy of Irish Dance took a number of top spots at the World Irish Dancing Championships, which were recently held in Montreal, Canada.
The Callanan MacLoone O’Meara Academy of Irish Dance enjoyed huge success, bringing home two World Champion titles, a winning solo and a winning team title, and three World Globes.
The Nenagh-based academy had 11 world qualifiers travel to Montreal to compete in the most prestigious event of the Irish dancing calendar. This was their most successful year to date with an array of titles at all the major competitions throughout the year.
