Celebrating 40 years since its foundation, Birdhill FC have planned a ‘Night of Fashion’ to mark their ruby anniversary, which takes place in association with Hilary Thompson Modelling Agency at the Lakeside Hotel, Killaloe on Thursday night week, April 13.

Arrangements are now being finalised for the show at 8pm with a host of international models, supported by local celebs, presenting all the latest fashion trends from a selection of the fashion houses in the region.

County Boutique and Heather, Nenagh; Joannes, Frocks, Ballina; Fine Rags Killaloe; Sinead’s; Pamela Scott; Marion Murphy; Cooney and Caroline Mitchell, Designers; Penneys, Limerick; Camden Square & Esquire, Limerick are among the fashion houses from which the selection of outfits to be modelled have been chosen.

The show gets under way at 8pm and anticipation is high of a full house to celebrate the arrival of spring 2023 and the milestone in the history of Birdhill FC. The club have recently announced that they have achieved the FAI Entry level Club Mark to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the founding of the club in 1983. The club caters for both girls and boys teams ranging from U6s to Junior Level who participate in the NTSFL, and NTDL and Tipperary Ladies League and have developed their own grounds on a green field site at the Limerick side of the village.
