Lotto: Our weekly club lotto continues as per normal and the draw take place every Thursday evening. Sympathy: Ballinahinch GAA club wish to extend their sympathies to the extended Kelly family on the death of Phil Kelly. Phil was a former hurler with the club and also a selector with the renowned U-15 team in 1969 which brought the first honours back to the club. Despite living and working in Limerick, Phil remained a loyal Ballinahinch and Tipperary supporter throughout his life. Many of Phil's family are still hurling with us and play an active role in the club's administration. Go ndéana Dia grásta ar a anam dílis.

Voluntary Shopping Service: Burgess hurler and student Tom Gibson is providing a free shopping service for the elderly in Burgess as part of a college project with the University of Limerick. The service runs from March 8th to 22nd. For more information you can contact Tom on 087-8781407.

St. Patrick’s Day Virtual Parade: We will be hosting the clubs first ever virtual St. Patricks Day Parade at 2.00pm on Wednesday March 17th. Tune into our Instagram and Facebook stories to watch the parade. You’ll have 24 hours to watch it from the comfort of your own home.

Last Man Standing: Congratulations to James Ferris, Portroe who won €500 in the Last Man Standing Fundraiser. This venture was organised by the senior hurlers and proved to be an outstanding success.

Cheltenham Prediction Fundraiser: There has been a great response to the Cheltenham Prediction Fundraiser which was organised by the senior hurlers. There is a prize fund of €2,000.

Sympathy: The club extends sympathy to Frances Cleary, Kilrea, Ardcroney on the death of her mother Margaret Hough (née Oakley), Finnoe Road, Borrisokane; John Carty, Wilton, Ballymackey on the death of his brother Tommy who died in Luton; and Peter Prout, Ardcroney on the death of his sister Rose O’Gorman who died in Connecticut, USA.

North Board Convention: Well done to Mike Ryan who was re-elected to the North Board CCC at last Friday’s adjourned Convention.

Mother’s Day Raffle: Our Juvenile Club ran a raffle to celebrate all the wonderful Mothers to our fabulous juvenile club members & for the weekend that was in it. Congratulations to the following children who won chocolates for their mothers on Mother’s Day: Ben McCormack, Matthew Peters, Cian Ryan, Bill Crotty, Conor Hodgins, and Filip McIntire.

Field Committee: Joe Hannigan is the new chairman of the Ballinderry Sportsfield Committee. He takes over from Ken Flynn who stood down after one year due to work commitments. Lisa Mulvihill remains on in the position of secretary with Joe Starr continuing as treasurer. Emer Brannigan is the contact person for booking the field.

Rovers Review: The finishing touches to the annual Rovers Review are in the final furlong. This will be a very nice present for Easter time. Feile 1991, and the hurling and football double in 2000 plus a feature on goalkeepers are some of the articles included.

Fundraiser: Thanks to those who supported our Fantasy Cheltenham fundraiser which commenced this week. Cheltenham is in full swing, so it is not too late to join for the final three days. It costs €20 to enter and all you can book online and pick five horses each day.

Clothes Collection: We invite people that wish to get rid of old unwanted clothes, shoes, old linen, or bags to drop them off at the GAA grounds next Saturday, 20th March from 11am to 4pm (No duvets, pillows). Bags can be collected if required.

There will also be an opportunity to drop off bags Friday 26th and Saturday 27th March.
