Voice star continues to shine
Congratulations to Sarah McTernan, who has made it into the final of ‘The Voice of Ireland’.
The semi-finals of the hit TV show were held in Dublin last Sunday and eight contestants were reduced to four.
Sarah (20), from Scarriff, is among those who will sing and compete for a record contract in the final show next week.
Sarah's maternal grandmother Margaret Ryan came from Ballina, the family homestead being located at Ballycorrigan on the Boher road. Theirs was a large family, and the young Sarah has many relatives scattered around the Nenagh area, including Graces in Nenagh and Dromineer and Lyons' in the Silvermines. She is a cousin of model Jane Lyons from Shallee, who is also well known locally for appearing on RTÉ shows, including 'Date With Fate' and 'ICA Bootcamp'.
