Choreographer Siobhán Ní Dhuinnín.

Dance project comes to Tipp

Cork-based choreographer and dance artist Siobhán Ní Dhuinnín brings her hit dance project Country OK to Holycross, this Wednesday, October 14. Invoking the spirit of dance halls and dancing bodies of past and present, Country OK is an evening of live performance followed by a dance party that invites you to let loose and join in.

Following sold out performances at Cork Midsummer Festival in 2024, and in Skibbereen and South Kerry earlier in 2026, Country OK comes to St. Michael’s Community Centre, Holycross for one night only on Wednesday 14th October, 7pm. The work is being presented as part of Tipperary Dance Festival 2026.

Siobhán says about presenting the performance in Tipperary, “We have been met with great enthusiasm and it's clear there's a rich history of dancing in Tipperary. This is a show that aims to share a love of dance and music with the audience, bringing people of all ages together.”

An inter-generational cast from across Tipperary have been rehearsing with Siobhán and the team over the past number of weeks preparing for the shows. Performers include a superb cast of professional dance artists including Robert Bridger, Grace Cuny, Molly Kelly, and Sarah Ryan, and musicians Robbie Barron, Solamh Kelly, Caoilian Sherlock, and Cathal MacGabhann. Country OK guarantees to have audiences foot-tapping and hip-twisting to the heart-wrenching songs of country music - and the exhilarating nature of a fleeting moment of dancing together.
