Borrisokane and Silvermines in Ladies Football County Finals

There will be a strong North Tipperary flavour to this weekends Tipperary Ladies Football county finals.

With a strong alliance with Tipperary camogie, all rounds of both championships have gone ahead on designated dates and weekends which has removed conflict and allows both associations to plan their fixtures schedule with Ladies Football having a clean weekend for their finals.

The showpiece finals take place in Golden on Sunday afternoon with the senior decider the highlight between Cahir and Moyle Rovers while Templemore aim to get back to the top-flight when they face Ardfinnan in the intermediate decider.

Templemore will be doubly involved on county final weekend with their junior team in the Junior ‘C’ decider against Borrisokane Gaels in Kilcommon on Saturday lunchtime.

This is the second final in a row for the fledgling Lower Ormond club who will be aiming to continue their rise winning the Junior ‘D’ final last year.

St Odhran’s Silvermines, long time ladies football beacons in North Tipperary, will aim to finally get county final success after some recent near misses when they take on Rockwell Rovers in the final, also in Kilcommon.
