Driver disqualified for four years

A young man was handed a mandatory disqualification from driving for a period of four years by Nenagh District Court recently.

Ion Cocirla (21) of Brookfield Green, Nenagh was found to be driving without insurance

by members of an Garda Síochána along Ballygraigue Court, Ballygraigue Road, Nenagh on July 25 last year.

Mr Cocirla had one previous conviction for driving without insurance from February 20, 2026.

Judge Marie Keane handed Mr Cocirla a mandatory disqualification from driving for a period of four years and fined him €200 with four months
