Trish to step down from Nenagh Arts Centre

Nenagh Arts Centre will bid farewell to Artistic Director Trish Taylor Thompson on Friday, May 8, following 18 months at the helm of the town’s cultural hub.

Trish joined Nenagh Arts Centre in September 2024 and has played a central role in shaping its artistic programme and strengthening its presence within the local and regional arts landscape. During her tenure, she has worked to expand the centre’s reach, welcoming a diverse range of musicians, artists and performers from Ireland and beyond, and supporting a vibrant programme of music, theatre, visual art and community events.

Her final day in the role will be this Friday, as she steps away from full-time arts management to focus on her own creative practice, as well as developing a new podcast project, Life’s What You Make It, which is available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Reflecting on her departure, the Arts Centre acknowledges Trish’s contribution in helping to develop a dynamic and welcoming programme, and thanks her for her commitment to artists, audiences and the wider community during her time in Nenagh.
