Tipperary planning progress

Tipperary Co Council granted permission to a total of 279 planning applications in the first three months of this year.

Ten applications were refused. In Nenagh Municipal District, 84 decisions were made to grant permission while two were refused.

Commenting on the applications at this month’s district meeting, Cllr John Carroll welcomed the high approval rate. So too did Cllr Fiona Bonfield, who said the high rate is a sign of productive pre-planning meetings.
