Run for Breda in Borrisokane Town Park
Run for Breda will take place in Borrisokane Town Park on Monday, April 6, commencing at 2pm. All are invited to this special event to honour the memory of Breda O’Shea at this 5k Run for Breda, whether you run, walk, jog or stroll, and age doesn’t matter either.
The late Breda was wife of the well-known referee Martin O’Shea and mum to Niamh. She was a much loved wife, mother, sister and friend to many, deeply valued by her family, friends and by everyone who knew and loved her. Breda was taken from their lives far too soon. This event provides an opportunity to remember her life in a positive, inclusive and uplifting way with the emphasis on togetherness rather than competition.
Light refreshments will be available on the day and there will be special guest appearances, from a plethora of players from the Tipperary Hurling panel and the Liam MacCarthy Cup, with more to be announced, adding to the sense of togetherness and support surrounding the occasion.
Donations will be accepted on the day or on the idonate link at O’Shea family’s fundraising page Run for Breda, with all proceeds going to Milford Hospice Care Centre, whose work offers comfort and care to families at some of life’s most difficult moments. None of us know when we will need their care!
